Time for a change...

I love the mountains...

(...and, yes, that is me in the picture)

If you find yourself desperately missing the profile image of the dog and the grapefruit - never fear! You can always find it here.

And - as before - if you don't like it, see Katie.

Thanks, The Management

I heart the new picture too. :)

And the new Stephen King book is pretty good so far! I'm only a couple chapters in so far though. Denise is farther along than me, so maybe she will offer up some words of wisdom? :D

It's taking me forever to get through the new Stephen King book, but only because I'm kind of short on free time to read right now. It's really good so far, but I can't tell you whether or not it will stay that way. If he doesn't crap out in the end, I'll give it a good review. :)

:(

I can't see the new picture. It's just a big white square. And if I click on it, I get a "this site is restricted" message. I wonder what's causing that.

Thanks, guys! I'm glad everyone approves!

AM: It is in the mountains around Silverton, Colorado (just north of Durango). The hike is to a place called THE ICE LAKES, which is about 8 miles round trip. It's Trevor and my favorite hike up there. It is SOOOOoooo beautiful! My mom has a cabin in Durango - maybe we should all plan a "BLOGGERS (not STALKERS) Hiking Retreat" this summer?! You'd love it.

Sarah & Denise: I almost bought it when I was last in a bookstore (about 10 days ago), but I decided to wait until it came out on paperback. I'm really hard on my Stephen King books, and tend to bend and warp them the more I get into the story. It's a problem. I have about 50 pages left of the DARK TOWER series, but can't seem to finish it. I don't want the story to end, and it won't if I don't open it. Yes, strange logic, but I LOVE that series! Anyway, I’ll eagerly await your reviews!

Yes! Let's go!!! I thought it looked like Colorado, but then it also reminded me of my favorite place in Scotland "Rest, and Be Thankful". What beauty. *Sigh*

A blogger trip! YEA!!! I've never been to Durango. But there's a train that runs from Silverton to Durango, right? My brother-in-law's parents live in Durango.

I've been slackin on the whole bodyguard/stalker thing but no fear (and then also a little bit of fear) I'm back and will take down anyone who has an issue with the new pic (which I find very inspiring)

AM: Yey! I love it there, and my mom's cabin is awesome! I've never gone to Silverton on the train (it takes 3 hours instead of a 45 minute drive).

Katie: No worries...you'll always be my online bodyguard/stalker.

Yeah, that was me. I don't know why my name doesn't show. The comment is still true. I'm feeling left out here.
