This week I have been cat sitting my friend's cat, Jack.
Jack hates me. I was hoping to remedy that this week with lots of attention, treats and catnip. Tragically, Jack has responded with:
- Hissing at me.
- Biting me. Twice.
- Throwing up on the rug.
- Scratching my wrist and drawing blood.
The worst part about it is that Jack is so hopeful that this time (just maybe) it will be his mama coming up the stairs to feed him and not me. It is a good thing Avia is coming home later on today. I am not sure Jack could handle another day of disappointment.
Meanwhile, Avia's apartment is quite literally covered in catnip. I figured it was the least I could do to ease Jack's pain.
