“If you've never seen an elephant ski, you've never been on acid.”

Imagine you are going to an early morning meeting at the Women's Museum, and you look to your left and there is an elephant. Because that is what happened to me this morning.

And no. We don't have a lot of elephants wandering around Fair Park. At least not on most Wednesdays. And never behind the DAR house.

I was walking. I am sure my double take was cartoon worthy.

You do have very RANDOM things happen - I'm glad you have this blog...

So should I join DAR... my grandmother was in it. My aunt is in it - but my Mom said she was already in too many groups.... so can I??? should I? Will I see an elephant, too?

I don't know. I've always wondered what members do and what the requirements are. My mother DESPERATELY wanted me to join the Junior League. There just isn't enough time in the day to join the Junior League if you already work for a nonprofit. But maybe that is just me. If you join DAR, please tell me what it is like! I am very curious!
