Um... but seriously though... how would you like to be the guy standing right there. This should give you perspective... you could say... "well, at least my situation isn't as bad as this poor sap." I can't imagine getting smacked against the rocks just out of view of the lower left hand corner felt very good.
No kidding. I kind of wish you could fast forward the image, so you see how it all played out.
This picture actually kept me up one night. I was really worried about the man and - more importantly - his fate 10 seconds into the future.
The only thing that allowed me to finally get to sleep was the thought that whoever TOOK the picture never would have publicized it if something unthinkable happened (Then, I quickly banished any and all thoughts of AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS, because - if you’ve ever seen the show - you know that there are WAY TOO MANY people out there that love to laugh at other peoples’ pain and tragedy).
So, in my mind at least, this picture has a happy ending.
And – no – it doesn’t involve the jagged rocks at the bottom of the cliff...

Oh, Deals... It'll be okay! Go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - it was great :)
